Food pairing
The Queen’s Welschriesling pairs beautifully with typical local dishes, such as sausage with cabbage. Welschriesling is also recommended for lighter appetizers, such as fresh salads, seafood, or light vegetable snacks.
Vinification
The wine is fresh and dry, meaning no maceration took place. The harvested grapes were destemmed, and the juice was extracted from the berries using a press. The juice was then transferred to a tank, where fermentation occurred with the help of yeast. After fermentation was complete, the wine was racked. It was aged in a stainless steel tank for 9 months.
