We are a winemaking family from the idyllic village of Svečina, located right by the Austrian border. Our involvement in viticulture dates back to 1903 when our ancestors purchased this farm. Today, the fourth generation manages the estate. We cultivate 6.5 hectares of vineyards, situated on medium-heavy clay and marl soils, with vines averaging around 20 years of age. In our vineyards, we grow 11 different grape varieties, including Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Rhine Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Kerner, Pinot Noir, Yellow Muscat, Muscat Ottonel, Chardonnay, and Silvaner. Annually, we produce approximately 30,000 liters of wine. We are especially recognized for our slogan "Three Sisters – Three Wines," representing our youngest generation and wines named after them: Špela, Lucija, and Maruša. This story, blending family and wine, has been a cherished tradition for over 20 years. At our estate, we offer wine sales, guided tastings, and cold dishes by prior arrangement.
